Our Dedicated Full Load Service is the ideal solution when your shipment requires exclusive use of a vehicle. Whether it’s sensitive cargo, oversized freight, or high-value goods, your consignment is collected and delivered by the same truck, eliminating unnecessary handling and reducing risk.
Operating nationwide, this bespoke service accommodates loads up to 32 tonnes and ensures complete control, security, and efficiency from start to finish.
Vehicle Options and Flexibility
Depending on your cargo and route, you can choose between:
- Closed body trucks for added protection from weather and dust
- Flatbed (open) trucks for large, heavy, or irregular freight
For containerized shipments, we offer 20ft, 40ft, or dual-container configurations. Some regional destinations may require the full use of the vehicle to ensure optimal routing and delivery efficiency.
Collection and Delivery Considerations
Because this service is fully dedicated, loading and offloading times are an important part of the planning process.
We recommend the following guidelines:
- 3 hours for loading or offloading a 20ft container
- 4 hours for loading or offloading a 40ft container
Where possible, palletised freight and forklift loading are advised for speed and safety. If a forklift or sufficient labour is not available, please notify us in advance so we can arrange additional labour. These vehicles operate with a driver only, so pre-arranged assistance is essential.
Freight Innovations can coordinate labour support or specialised equipment on either end of the journey.

When booking a dedicated load, what should I consider ?
When booking a dedicated vehicle, please take the following into account:
- Access and location: Confirm that both collection and delivery sites can accommodate the vehicle size — for example, a superlink or 8-ton truck.
- Loading and offloading: Ensure labour and mechanical equipment (such as forklifts or cranes) are ready and available at both ends.
- Standing times: Standard loading and offloading time is 3 hours, depending on the vehicle configuration.
- Delays: If loading or offloading is delayed, operations may need to continue after hours.
- Cancellations: Failing to cancel a truck in time will result in a financial penalty.
Pre-Collection Packing
It goes without saying that the quality of your packing dictates the quality of the end result, and we are equipped to handle this step for you. If you are not able to hand over properly palletised or crated cargo please let us know and this added benefit will be included in our delivery.
Loading & Off-Loading Considerations
Another crucial aspect of this service is the quality of both sender and receiver on-site loading capabilities. We will consider the nature of the consignment as well as the capabilities on either side when deciding which vehicles to use.
In most cases, we recommend that a forklift, warehouse space and enough labour should be accounted for on either side. With prior arrangement, Freight Innovations can organise labour on both ends. In the event that special rigging equipment is required, the delivery/collection will have this factor built in to the costing.
